Dorm Life

Hey all! Just wanted to let everyone know that I LOVE DORM LIFE!!! It is great. I forgot a ton of stuff... Like pictures to decorate with, purses, umbrella (its raining right now). But I did remember my cowboy hat and red bandana that I may need for some themed parties! Hopefully everyone checked out my moms blog for the pictures of it! Once I get some pictures and pretty fabric to cover my cork board in I will take some new ones to show everyone. I miss my family like crazy! Hopefully the girls aren't having too much fun with the [ugly] shoes and purses I left at home ... on purpose. Just kidding!

Anyone have any ideas of what I could store jewelry with or on... Preferably cheap! Something creative would be nice... I am not a fan of jewelry boxes. Let me know! Thanks

Last Days in Omaha...

Wow! I am really moving out tomorrow! ... This is so weird ... anyways, I have been having a great summer. I am really excited to move to Lincoln but ... dun dun dun ... kkkiiinnnddd of sad to leave my family! Ha ha! Just kidding, of course I will miss them all! I will post up pictures tomorrow of my dorm and room mate and such. But, in the mean time that I haven't been blogging; Cody and I went to Kansas to visit my Grandparents, the Stewart family took a little shopping trip to Des Moines, I had my last day at work at the Life Cafe... busy busy, like always. But... the most exciting part of it all.... I got my MACBOOK PRO!!! and Ipod Touch!!! ... AND.... Spook Tacular charm pack from Kim!!! Thank you sososo much mom and dad for the computer, and Kim for my favorite thing of all time... fabric!!! =D What a exciting past couple weeks.

Country cosmic bowling (the apparel part obviously wasn't enforced)
Texas Road House for dinner

Road trip to Adventureland with Cody, Alex, and Brooke

Waited in line for Game 2 of the Championship series, Texas VS. LSU all day in the 112 degree weather (yes, it was 112 degrees outside).

Walk

Cody and I planned on going on a nature walk yesterday... We were going to go out in the forest at Zorinsky Lake, but we didn't have time since I had to be at work. Sooo, we just walked through peoples yards! ...How polite, I know :)

Texas

I just got home from one heck of a fun trip to Dallas, Texas! I stayed June 1st-8th with my Aunt Audrey... and mmmaaaaannn did we have a BLAST!

Here is a over-view of what was our agenda:

Day 1: Leave Omaha, Fly To Dallas, Shopping at Great Vine Mills Mall

Day 2: Drive to New Braunfels, go to Schlitterbahn, eat Whataburger (first time there; amazing, enough said.), stay the night at a very nice Holiday Inn Express

Day 3: Eat delicious complimentary buffet at hotel, drive to San Marcos, go the the Prime 1 Outlets (...spend all of paycheck...), drive back to Dallas

Day 4: Drive to Arlington, go to Hurricane Harbor, go to West End downtown Dallas for dinner at Haffen Braugh (can't remember how to spell it) steak house, YUMMY!

Day 5: Go to the Great American Scrapbook Convention in the Arlington Convention Center (...blow even more money...) By the way, if anyone is near any of the three locations the G.A.S.C. travels to, I HIGHLY recommend you go! Bought lots of frilly scrapbooking stuff!

Day 6: Go to Six Flags

Day 7: Go to the Galleria Mall and the North Park Mall

Day 8: Fly home :( I miss you already Aunt Audrey!

By the way... Nanny 911 tip for when a child is throwing a tantrum for someone to get down and throw a tantrum with them does NOT work!!! Here is Aunt Audrey trying to throw a tantrum with Natalie, LOL... I'm sure you can guess what pictures prove that one! ;)

The Zoo... >:O

Today, Mom and I went to the zoo... for a Zoology class field trip, of course! Because...*deep breathe*...I HATE THE ZOO!!!

The only semi decent part was the butterfly house, which even after that I relized grossed me out. I fealt like there was bugs on me the rest of the day! Not to mention, lunch was a complete disaster. There were mean birds everywhere trying to steal everyone's food...ugh! Mom did teach me how to use her camera today though, kind of:
